Fall Back

Ah, the first Sunday of November.
Reverting back to standard time, giving us an extra hour of sleep.
I woke up at 8:30 because it felt like 9:30, which is fine, because now I have an extra hour to cross things off my endless to-do list.

The down side? Even less daylight.
Daylight Savings Time is officially over.
I'm not exactly sure what the opposite of Daylight Saving is, are we Daylight Spending? Daylight Depleting?Moonlight Saving?
Either way I can say good-bye to the distant hint of an emerging sun on my drive to school. Goodbye to sunlight on my walk home from work.

At least today I am rested.

It was fun having an extra hour, but I was up at 6am because my little one thought it was 7am....Grrrr. Just means I have more tim to do things now! Have a great day! :)

Heading over from Comment Love Sunday! I love gaining an hour even though we aren't really gaining anything since we lose it again in a few months. Reminds me of a diet but backwards.

I am so happy Arizona doesn't do this. It makes it so nice for us all. Confusing for our family members and friends but nice for us.

Hi Maggie,
It is great that you were able to get an extra hour of rest. Many years ago in Jamaica Daylight Savings Time was tried but eventually it was abandoned. I do not think it would make much difference here. I am a new Follower of your Blog from Jamaica. I learnt about it from FTLOB. Take care and have a good week.
